Macau Basic Law Speech Contest

  Organized by the Macau Basic Law Promotion Association, the Legal Affairs Bureau, the Municipal Affairs Bureau and the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau, and co-sponsored by the Macau I am Speakers Association, the memorial to the “27th Anniversary of the Promulgation of the Basic Law of the Macau Special Administrative Region, the Constitution and the Basic Law Speech Contest" finals and awarding ceremony were successfully held on July 25.

  In this speech contest, Macau schools held writing contests on the theme of "The Constitution of the People's Republic of China and the Basic Law of the Macau Special Administrative Region and the Individuals, Families, Schools and Society".  After the preliminary round, 12 contestants were selected to participate the finals.  They performed their best with various interpretation skills, they showed that the Constitution and the Basic Law are closely related to our daily life and expressed their opinions on the Constitution and the Basic Law.  The audience listened attentively and was moved by the contestants' own stories.  Our Senior Middle 1 student, Chau Kuan In from the Chinese Section won the fourth prize and the best performance award.
